END OF YEAR EXPECTATIONS

End of the Year Expectations for each year group.

At Pilgrims' Cross we use a SECURE FIT judgement which means that if a child achieves "the expected standard" they have shown they can demonstrate they have achieved ALL of the statements. If a child is assessed as "working above the expected standard / working at greater depth at the expected standard" they have demonstrated they have exceeded ALL of the expected standards.

To make these assessments we use the children's Learning Adventure Books, observe them while they are working, use KS1 and KS2 tests, set challenges, read with the children, and listen very carefully to their answers to questions. This creates an accurate and rigorous SCHOOL TEACHER ASSESSMENT.

Below you will find the End of Year Expectations for each Year Group.

(Please ignore the All pupils (29 pupils info at the top of some of the documents.)
