I hope you had a chilled weekend and you have been able to get out for your one piece of exercise, with your family members only and keeping 2 metres away from everyone else.
We have been really enjoying those times, and we have started to really notice things near our house. We noticed 37 rainbows on our last walk :-)
This week we will be seeing if we can spot 3 things that are the same colour as the rainbow one day natural things and one day man made!
Thomas, Lucy and myself , also, created a HAND Rainbow - we coloured in 35 hands, 5 hands for each colour of the rainbow, using different patterns. We also made some signs to go in our windows. I had a great time colouring in!
See below for photos. (Thomas not so keen to be in the photo :-))
WEEKLY VIRTUAL WORSHIP
This week I have created a virtual worship for you , please see below both in POWERPOINT or PDF.
If you can look at it on TUESDAY at 10.00am then that would be brilliant.
We then ALL can all do it TOGETHER but in our own homes, thinking and praying together. I will be following it at that time at my house or in my office. (Pls note is not a live broadcast!) It should be about 20 minutes and you will need some to discuss your thoughts with and maybe someone to read the words to you.)
If you cannot make the Tuesday slot then do not worry just spend 20 minutes another time.
PLEASE REMEMBER if you are lighting a candle (or three) then PLEASE MAKE SURE AN ADULT IS WITH YOU!
I will be posting a WORSHIP on the website every week so it might be something you would like to put in your weekly schedule -
10am Tuesday - VIRTUAL WEEKLY WORSHIP. TIME
THIS WEEK'S NUMBER ONE CHALLENGE
There are many elderly people in Andover who live in care homes. Due to the STAYING AT HOME instructions they sadly cannot have any visitors.
However, Mrs Renouf has been working hard and has made contact with some of the care homes to see if we as a school can brighten up these elderly people's day.
AND WE CAN! We can MAKE A POSITIVE DIFFERENCE TO THEIR LIVES, by sending them pictures, colouring and letters.
So the CHALLENGE is any of the following:
(All on a4 so can be folded in 3 to fit in normal letter envelopes)
Please add your first name only and our school name - Pilgrims' Cross CE Primary School to any creation.
AND THEN POST IT TO YOUR YEAR GROUP LINKED CARE HOME.
We have allocated different year groups different care homes so we can make many many elderly people smile!
(If you do not have stamps or envelope and cannot get any, please leave your creation in the yellow box by the school's front door on your daily exercise route and we will post.)
Please note you probably will not receive a reply.
THIS IS A WEEKLY CHALLENGE however it will become an ONGOING CHALLENGE as these elderly people need cheering up every week or fortnight. So please do send new creations once a week or fortnight. :-)
If you wish to send me a photo of your creation for this week l i will try to post them on this page throughout the week.

SECOND Weekly Challenge
I have been working from Home sometimes and that means I have been in the house all the time with both of my children, Thomas and Lucy.
Sometimes, we have found it difficult to get along with each other and we have even ended up arguing!
So, I decided that it would be a good idea to work together and agree a FAMILY CHARTER, which applies to us all. We all shared our ideas and created one we all felt would help. The Family charter sets out how we ALL will try and try again to treat each other so we all can get along and cope with being in the same house as each other for most of the day! We decided not to make it too strict but focused on being RESPECTFUL to each other.
So Challenge NUMBER TWO this week is to create a FAMILY CHARTER and send me a copy if your family would like to share it. Remember "being respectful" comes under our VALUE of LOVE! You might want to use our values of LOVE, COURAGE and TRUST to help guide you in the creation of your FAMILY CHARTER.
Please remember use the words WEEKLY CHALLENGE only in the SUBJECT of the emails. (This helps me sort the email@example.com email inbox. :-))
Below is our FAMILY CHARTER, please note my children are 13 and 11 so some of the words and ideas maybe different to yours as Thomas and Lucy are older than you.
