This Friday's Home Learning is something rather different to Picture News.
I want to share with you a letter we received from one of the local care homes. The letter detailed how happy and thankful the residents and carers were to receive the wonderful HEARTS FOR HOMES you created a few weeks ago. We have also had communication from one of the businesses that visits the care home that also explained your art work had cheered them up every time they visited.
So, we contacted them and asked if there was anything else we could do to make the residents smile and feel LOVED.
Their reply was very simple....MORE LOVELY CHILDREN'S ART WORK, which leads me onto this week's FRIDAY AFTERNOON REMOTE LEARNING.
Please can you create some wonderful art work for the local care homes and their residents.
The art work does need to be flat so it can be put on the wall and no bigger than A4 (normal paper) size. However, it could be a painting, a collage, a drawing or a colouring, just something that is cheery and bright.
This might take you a while to make something really great so please do see this as Friday remote learning and also the weekend challenge.
Please bring your creations into school on Monday and your teachers will pass them onto me and I will make sure they are sent to the local care homes.
