I hope you are all safe and well. It's been an interesting week hasn't it? Mr Johnson has announced that all children shall be returning to school on Monday 8th March, which means that very soon we shall all be together again and we shall all be able to re-establsh our friendships, learn together once more, see our teachers without the need of a screen and enjoy other sights and sounds of primary school life that have sadly been missing for some of you.
There appears to be light at the end of the tunnel. Have you ever heard people use that expression? Well, that got me thinking about the importance of Hope and how brave and courageous everyone has been during this lockdown period. OK, we are not totally out of the tunnel just yet, and we still need to be sensible and safe, but I think we can see some light! We are moving forward.
It is interesting how this has also coincided with the lengthening of the days, the warmer sun and the arrival of flowers, increased birdsong and even the appearance of butterflies! Spring is just around the corner.
Have a look at these images below.
Now, I noticed Year 3 writing some wonderful short descriptions based on a similar image this week and that's what inspired me, infact I think the trees tunnel was the image they were focusing on!
My loving challenge to you this week is to have a go at writing, drawing, describing, making, taking pictures of, going for a walk to find...tunnels, with light at the other end! Once again, I would love to be sent any of your amazing creations via the admin office email address.
Take good care of each other and we'll see one another very soon.
